Unparalleled Panoramic ocean views Accommodation

This place is a real treasure! Situated on a hillside with the view over rolling hills and the ocean within close proximity to Te Arai Beach, Forestry and Mangawhai Heads Beach. We came over for a couple 5 day stay and surf. The facilities were great, highlights were large and comfy beds, TV, well-equipped kitchen, showers with good pressure, outside warm showers, beautiful exotic garden and 'Stage' area for barbeque. Oh, they are also dog friendly! The staff were super friendly, a special shout out to Corne and Jan for being fantastic coaches. We were pretty unlucky with the weather but we look forward to visiting Aotearoa Surf next year, hopefully in more sunny conditions 🙂 Thank you Team.

What a beautiful place! Had a great few nights stay while my daughter was on the Ultimate Kids Surf Camp. A real retreat with tropical planting and gorgeous sunsets to match. Eco pods were very clean and had everything you would need. Perfect place to relax after surfing or exploring the area. Daughter had a blast at camp, was taught how to surf by some great coaching staff, and made some good friends in the process. Can't wait to make it back here, thanks to Che and team.

The view from the property is amazing, in the morning, the cloud forms different pictures. In the night, milky-way is just above your head! We are a group of 4 families, they have a group dining area called Stage, suits us perfectly for Christmas Eve and Christmas day. Our kids enjoyed the surf lessons. We enjoyed our stay and I will definitely come back with my family.

Took a break from hiking the Te Araroa trail and spent the last 5 days at the Aotearoa Surf School and Accommodations. Che and the team have set up a place to both relax and spend time surfing. Lots of great coaches, great facilities, amazing views! We did the 5 night surf and stay package and had a really good time. It was the first time my wife really ever tried to surf, so it was great to see her give it her all!

These unique Eco Pods had amazing views across the rolling hills and out to the sea and surrounding Islands. It had really comfortable bed and clean and tidy amenities (Separate Kitchen and Bathroom Pods). Very peaceful setting and Che was really responsive to my messages. If we were in the area again we would definitely stay here again.

I was treated with a gift voucher for my birthday last year for 2 nights and finally took advantage of it a year later. We chose the Glamping option as something different and man this didn't disappoint. The location itself is remote but easily accessible and just a turn off the main road to Mangawhai. The Teepee was cosy but spacious with a luxury king sized bed (plus 2 singles) and everything we could have needed for our stay. The facilities were like new, clear and plenty available. The kitchen area had everything you could have needed to cook for yourself onsite without needing to wait for others to finish up with their pots/pans/plates etc. Elaine was great onsite, she super friendly and gave us recommendations of places to eat in town and everything she recommended was amazing. My only suggestion is possibly a bigger fridge as for our room allocation, we only had 2 small shelves in the door which were great for drinks but unfortunately couldn't store food we had purchased in store so needed to borrow someone else's shelf. 10/10 would recommend to anyone who is looking for a unique experience with a modern twist.
