New & improved program in 2024!

Our 6 week After School progressive surf program runs during terms 1 & 4 and is designed with clear achievements (bronze, silver, gold & platinum medals) that allow children to progress through our broad variety of beach and surfing skills from start to finish. It is also the perfect opportunity for kids to make friends outside of school. Perfect for kids aged 7-18 years old (6 year olds with prior approval).

  • All surfboards & wetsuits provided (or bring your own)
  • 2 x 1 hour and 15 minute surf lessons
  • New Zealand's top surf instructors

Cost:

$199 for 6 week program. (Mangawhai)
$229 for 6 week program (Orewa)

Our 15 year old son and 3 of his friends joined the after school surfing program in Orewa and they can’t stop raving about it! They really enjoyed being in a group together and having fun while learning. Going to have to call into the shop and buy a board now, think he has picked up a new hobby for life!

We signed our 7 and 13 year old daughters up to do the after school surfing in Mangawhai and we couldn’t be more pleased with the results! There aren’t many sports, especially after school, where you can cater for multiple ages but the team at Aotearoa Surf made it so easy for us and the instructors were great at teaching both our girls even if they were at different stages in their surfing skills, definitely recommend!
